Myles' 1st hair cut and the zoo

Last week we had a really nice, warm day in the low 60's so we hit the zoo. Hard to fathom it was that warm and now it's -29 with the windchill. Ugh! Am I in MN?! It sure feels like it.

On this particular day at the zoo, the tigers were quite playful. This is a mom and her 3 cubs. It was so fun to watch the cubs playing together, nipping at their mom's hind legs, climbing a tree! If I remember correctly, the cubs are less than a year old.

The giraffes were galloping around too. It was so fun to see the animals so active instead of just napping!
The chase was on! Myles was quite interested in the peacocks. They get so close it makes me nervous!

Last Saturday we decided to get Myles' hair cut for the first time. It wasn't all that long but it was kinda funny in the back with lots of whispies. Although he has a scowl on his face in these pictures, he was happy and did very well! He was quite entertained in the car he got to sit in and Cam helped too!

Here's the big boy hair cut. Wish I would've taken a better "before" photo.
What's funny is that I realized Cam wore this exact shirt for his 1st haircut. This was not planned at all--completely a coincidence! So, I had to post a picture of Cam at his first haircut. Cam was just shy of his first birthday in this photo whereas Myles is 16 months. I wonder if it's safe to say that Myles won't have as much hair as Cam?!
